Vylet Pony

Vylet Pony is probably who i'm listening to the most right now and i'm kind of obsessed. I found her music about a year ago at this point (holy shit time is going fast) and i became an immediate fan. He music and sound is very unique, and i haven't listened to anything really like it. Part of this is how versatile she is as a musician and artist, along with her voice that i just love.

I found her through her single ANTONYMPH, which actually inspired me to finally create this website. I remember being really inspired by the message, and of course, just really loving the song. After that i started listening to more of her music, and following her stuff.

Probably one of my favourite albums of all time (or by listen time too) has to be can opener's notebook: fish whisperer, because i was (still am) obsessed with this album, and was listening to it non-stop for a month or two after i first listened to it. Immaculate, flawless album. I can't praise it enough.

Warning: "Monarch of Monsters" contains blood/gore, murder, self-harm, suicide, nudity, sexual content, sexual assault, sexual violence, cannibalism, f-slur, and existential/cosmic horror. This pertains to its lyrics, themes, story, and artwork, and may be especially triggering to survivors of grooming and sexual assault. Parental guidance is advised for those under the age of 18, as "Monarch of Monsters" is intended for a mature audience.

Monarch of Monsters is the newest major album release by Vylet Pony, following Wolf (Vylet Cypress). Read the full novella accompanying the album for the story. I'll let her explain the story:

> "Monarch of Monsters" is an allegory for how trauma, loneliness, and selfishness can turn you into a horrible person; it's about endeavouring to stay alive even within a terminal state of regret; how — in this regret — experiencing any happiness at all feels insincere and undeserved; about perpetuating cycles of toxicity and wickedness because it's all you've known, especially in denial of being wrong; and ultimately, learning to find purpose and self-love in that din.

P.S. i don't really know much about music so i can't articulate my thoughts very well (i'll try), but i really loved this album. I feel like this is the sound of Vylet Pony that really got me to fall in love with her music. The chaotic mix of styles she's able to write for just makes the album so interesting to listen to, and is one of the reasons i find her work so special. I also love her voice.

Not long before the release of this album i was listening to can opener's notebook: fish whisperer non stop for like a month lol.

Anyway. Stop reading this shit and listen to the album!!!!!

Favourite track: PLAY DEAD! PLAY DEAD!
